A vacancy has arisen at King Edwin School in Norton for a passionate cook who is dedicated to providing nutritious and healthy meals to up to 50 children daily. Our students are often apprehensive about certain foods, and need support and encouragement to try new things. If you are passionate about cooking, serving good healthy food, like working with children and see food as part of building a community and family we want to hear from you.

This role is initially for 30 hours, possibly with the ability to increase. The salary based on 30 hours  in term time only would be £11375, although term time working, you would be paid 12 equal payments through out the year. Please send CV in the first instance to

We are currently seeking a Cook for our small School in Clydebank to plan menu’s and provide nutritious and balanced meals to a small group. You will work to a budget to order supplies. You will also be required to carry out deep cleans and use your initiative to maintaining high environmental standards of cleanliness and hygiene by adhering to company policies and procedures including Food Hygiene, HACCP and COSHH. Maintenance Coordinator/Caretaker
Stockton on Tees, TS20
Spark of Genius NE are  committed to ensuring that the environments our children learn and live in are maintained to a very high standard. 
Spark of Genius NE are looking to appoint and experienced Caretaker/Maintenance Coordinator. The role will initially be based at Kind Edwin School however will require travel between the three residential houses to assess and co-ordinate a variety of general minor maintenance works. A full driving license is essential. 
The post holder will have excellent communication and negotiation skills,  they will need to have the ability to assess and prioritise workloads as well as work within allotted maintenance budgets. It is essential that candidates are able to identify quality workmanship and achieve best value within the building industry.
The successful applicant will have the skills necessary to carry out general maintenance and porter duties within King Edwin school as well as the residential houses.
We are looking for a an individual who is able to be flexible in their working hours to meet the needs of the service. 
The post holder will also need to have a general understanding of the needs of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Cook /Housekeeper
Fixed Term 3 month contract at Dalry, North Ayrshire (KA24 4JD).

We currently have an urgent requirement for a cook /housekeeper on a 3 month fixed term contract for 35 hours per week for one of our services at one of our houses situated at Davidshill Farm within Dalry, North Ayrshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Cook/Housekeeper who will be required to work in a residential environment specifically for young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

You will be required to plan menus with a well-balanced and nutritional diet, work to a budget, order/receive supplies, and maintain high standards of hygiene by adhering to company policies & procedures including HACCP & COSHH. You will also be required to teach young people the skills that you require for day to day living. You should have home baking experience and also have the ability to interact with young people aged between 8 and 16 years old.

The successful candidate will be required to become a PVG member and ideally should possess a food hygiene certificate.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week Mon-Fri (Flexibility Required).
