Teaching Assistant – Beith, KA14 3DA
Fixed term until June 2018

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work on a one to one basis to assist the education team, to effectively support our young people to progress with their learning and make positive behaviour choices.

You will be required to work as part of a team, to create an environment, where young people between the ages of 11-16 who encounter social, emotional, behavioural and educational difficulties feel secure and can achieve their potential.

You should also have an ability to deal with difficult situations and make appropriate decisions in line with the policies and procedures of the learning centre, and be willing to undergo training as required.

Due to our growth, we are currently recruiting teaching assistants. The successful candidate will be highly experienced and able to engage and support vulnerable and challenging children and young people.  The appointee will be relentless in supporting our students to achieve a high standard of attainment throughout their time with the school, and in preparing the students for their next steps. Our teaching assistants must be flexible, innovative and response, able to work effectively with our teachers to identify every opportunity to help our children and young people develop their skills and confidence, both academically and personally.
